Spacious and recently renovated rooms in great shape for guests. Conveniently located close to a market on the front lawn 🌳. Also situated near the lake with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains, as well as all the nearby restaurants.

Great bed and pillows.
The shower was so small and the showerhead was very low, not enjoyable at all. This Hotel has a clear feild in the front with a massive view of Lake Taupo but this Hotel is obviously a top choice for fully loaded trucks and trailers to stay at, therefore our view was of a large car laden truck parked out front.

Overall it was a wonderful stay in winter. The location was amazing, close to cafes and bars as well as the outskirts of town. Moreover, it was just a pleasant stroll away from Maori Rock Carvings. There was a great bar and outstanding food at the attached restaurant.

Got a room on the first floor of the front section of motel overlooking the lake. Superb sunsets and superb views, nice size room with balcony, bathroom Ok. Restaurant also very nice and food.
Local issues ongoing with lorry drivers who park in front of the front section motel rooms and obscure the beautiful view for the ground floor units, highlighted this to manager to help future guests so the view is seen and enjoyed because that's the main reason you book this place.

The Suncourt was really well situated and had fantastic views without the busy road close by. It was an easy walk to the main restaurants etc. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had the studio and our friends had a twin share, although we paid the same amount, their room was a lot bigger and had a better kitchen and bathroom area. Ours felt cramped in comparison.
